Your first step on the way to using Sitelife is the creation of a project.
After logging in you find yourself in your project overview. Here, you can select existing projects by clicking on them or create a completely new one with the help of the "+ Create new project"-button. Click on this button to start the creation process. Fill in a name and a description and select the kind of file you project will contain. An explanation of the different options is found here.
The next step requires a thumbnail to be uploaded before you can finish creation.
You just created your first Sitelife project!
To be able to work in your project, you need to upload at least one version. The kind of file needed is according to the kind of project you created. Use your sidebar to navigate into the "Versions" tab.
To upload a PDF-file, click on "Create new version" in the upper right corner. Choose a name and select the file from your device.
More information on this process can be found here.
In order to use Revit-files you need to use our Revit-addin. How to use it and how to prepare your model can be found here.
After creating a project, all of your coworkers have access to it. If you want to add an external user you can do so by opening the settings on the project page after opening it. Here, insert the email address of the person you want to add and click on "Add user".
The last step on your way to using the Construction report is the creation of a craft. This can be done in the ConRep tab located in your sidebar.
Enter the "Crafts" tab and click on "New craft". After finishing the creation, you can enter the Construction Report. Additional information on crafts is located here.
Now your craft has to get some actions assigned to it.
In order to assign an action to a craft, it has to be created first. Again, you have to navigate to the "Crafts" tab. Click on "+ New action" and select a name and color. Actions are collected in action groups. Select your craft and click on "Action group" and followed up by "New action group". Select a name and the previously declared actions and finish the creation. Now, the actions are assigned to the craft and they can be performed inside the Construction Report. Read more on actions here.
